Cooking Class- Cinammon Rolls


Guess what I did? Did you know that I have never made Cinnamon Rolls in my whole life? Thats right So I found this recipe and I made them for the first time.

All in the house loved them. If I can do it you can too!

P.S. BTW I used the same frosting except I changed the coffee to orange juice and rind. My sister did the same except she used maple flavoring

Cooking Class - Quesadilla's with Beans and Salsa

with Beans and Salsa















Quesadilla's
Ingredients

Flour Tortilla's (I use a mix by www.tortillamix.com)
Velveeta Cheese

1. Make tortilla's as told on package.
2. Add a thin slice of cheese in between two tortilla's heat till melted.

Salsa

Ingredients

1/8th cup Dried Onions
1/2 cup very hot water
2 (15oz) Cans Tomatoes
1 teaspoon Cilantro
1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder
1 (4oz) can Green chili's

1. Combined Onions and water set aside.
2. Drain tomatoes but save juice.
3. Place tomatoes in blender and add dry ingredients.
4. Drain onions and place in blender
5. Add green chili's to taste ( I add the whole can)
6. Add reserved juice a little at a time if to thick.

Beans

Use what ever type of beans you like.

I used dried refried beans. I make as directed and then added a taco seasoning package.

Cooking Class- Apple Crumble


Ramona's Apple Crumble

Filling:
5 cups Dried Apples
4 Tablespoons Cornstarch
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon all spice
5 cups water

Topping

2.5 cups plain floor
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Butter Flavor Crisco

1. Preheat oven to 350.

Filling:

1. Mix all dry ingredients together.
2. Add water to dry mix and mix well.
3. Bring to boil stirring occasionally
4. Pour mixture into 9 X13 pan

Topping

1. Place flour and sugar in bowl mix well.
2. Taking a few cubes of butter at a time rub into flour mixture. Keep adding butter until mixture looks like breadcrumbs.
3. Place mixture over filling and bake for 20-30 min or until topping is golden brown.
