Flowers

I took this picture back in July.  It was the Hight of spring here.  I love to bubbles in the upper right corner.  This little flower was right next to a raped flowing creek.  Yet, for some reason it brings me peace.  So does this one.

Snow in Wyoming

Yesterday I had to go to Casper for a doctors visit. I knew I might hit snow in Casper but never did I realize I would hit snow on the way home.

Those that know me, know driving my Hubbies truck is my favorite past time (sure). So Yeasterday about 2pm I hit snow. It wasn't bad at first but then the wind picked up. There were times I couldn't see the bug guard on the truck. Then I felt like it was time to stop so I did just when I did I saw an accident a few trucks in front of me. So we then sat there for two hours.

After we were able to move again I stopped at the rest area a half a mile ahead of were I stopped and was told that the Hwy had been closed to Riverton.

I found this on the Casper Star Tribune web site.

"In another incident, WYDOT officials closed a 22-mile stretch of Highway 789 between Riverton and Shoshoni for a while Monday afternoon following a crash involving four-tractor trailers and four other vehicles.

Townsend said troopers reported near-whiteout conditions due to snow and blowing snow at the scene of the crash, about eight miles north of Riverton. Two people injured in the crash were transported by ambulance to Riverton Memorial Hospital."

I am so glad I was stuck for two hours. Once we started to go we were able to move. The fastest I went was about 25 mph. But the good thing is by the time we got to Shoshoni the roads where clear the sun was shining and I was able to get home.

On the way there it took my 3 hours on the way home 7 hour.

I know I was being protected. I am grateful for it.

Here is a picture of what it looked like this morning

Date Night on Youth Night

Life can be so good. It has taken years to be happy about Secondary Infertility. So once I came to terms with it I was able to start finding joy in being a mother of one. Last night was one of those days where I was able to see the Joy. I dropped Alec off at Church for Young Mens and Scouts. It was such a pretty night. When I went to pick up my husband from work I told him lets go for a drive and that is what we did. This is one of the pictures I took.

4th of July 2007

"Is this really patriotic?" I was asked.

So I then explained Scuttles thoughts on the matter. Which I am sure was more that was bargained for when the question was asked.

Yesterday My Family and I went exploring not really playing- "Where does that road go?"- cause we had a plan. Well soft of . We wanted to get out of the house go somewhere in Virginia we hadn't been before. We packed a lunch and hit the road.

We explored and fell in love with a another part of Virginia. We got to enjoy the freedom of being able to be with our family. We celebrated the 400th birthday of Virginia in our own way. Being explorers just like those from the first landing. Although we didn't get home in time to see the fireworks this year. We sang songs in the truck and fought over which radio station we should listen to. What could be more American than that.

Hope you had fun too!

Food to go

I really like food. I would like more food to be home delivery. Wouldn't it be great if you want a good down home cooked meal and you do want to cook it or go out to a restaurant you could just call it in. BUT wait you say order pizza or Chinese sure thats great and every thing but is it really Cracker Barrel's pot roast and carrots with mash and gravy

14 Years

I sometimes wonder how we did it. Then I think of all the fun we have had both big and small. I am reminded of all the sorrow and joy we have felt. The mistakes we made and maybe some right choice thrown in for good measure. Yet I think most of all the love we have shared. If you really want to get sappy it's our love for Our Father in Heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ that has been there right the way through. We can do anything as long as we turn to him. When we haven't, well let just say life sucked! I am so grateful for this blessing I have been given and I pray that the next 14 years will be better than the first.

Love ya Sweetie!

My day just some thoughts

Well Sunday was a "Good Day". Warren and I had to give talks and they both were good. We where asked to attend a wonderful ladies Baptism and then everyone that was there that could came over to our place where we had chicken noodle soup. It was so much fun to have good friends sitting around our table just eating and shooting the breeze.

Monday was cleaning day but somehow I forgot to do Laundry.... NOTTTTT

Today I started our taxes. While Alec worked on school then he taught me how to play the next level of Ty. on his PS2 I couldn't even make it without feeling sick. I can't wait till I can get my eyes fixed.

Well hope your having a good day!
